ASTRALS

Each Astral will have a basic set of cards that they start out with. Each piece of equipment (helmet, right hand, left hand, armor, boots, jewelry, soul implant) and ability (racial skill, class skill, tribal skill) will replace three cards in the deck. As such, each deck will consist of 30 cards. Up to 3 Astrals can be used in combat, each with their own deck. Each turn, Astrals draw up to 3 cards (cards are shuffled if deck is empty). All cards can be played until there are no more cards to play or the timer for each round runs out (75 seconds). Each Astral can reserve up to 2 cards at the end of the turn.

ASTRALS' levels go from level 1 to level 30, and each level grants them additional health and the ability to equip higher level items.

Players can use $SHARD to purchase limited-supply items from the in the in-game store as well as upgrade their item to higher tiers that add better cards to the deck and can only be equipped by higher level ASTRALS. Soul implants can only be upgraded by stacking additional Soul implants of the same type. See Play-to-Earn for more details on what Soul Implants are.
